Crunching Data – An Investment for Future Wins
Data is the next currency that accelerates business. This is so true that even for the international association meetings business, many destination and meetings suppliers are increasingly relying on data because a single piece of information can change an entire business strategy in bidding for an international association event. Information and data can build our knowledge which is critical in every stage of the bidding process, from knowing the decision makers, association expectations, budget plan, event goals, and so forth. That is why destinations must understand the importance and value of information to form a solid knowledge base to pursue more business. In this session, the presenter will share practical tips of how to leverage on the ICCA Association Database and ICCA global network to achieve business objectives, coupled with best practices that he has seen in the marketplace which can be an example for Indonesia to adopt and emulate.
